Use case · Outreach

Cold email with a video, a page for every prospect.

Cold email gets skimmed. A short video from a real person, on a page made for them, gets watched. Cliprame turns one recording into a page and a link for everyone on your list, and tells you who watched so you call the right people.

No card. Your prospect doesn’t need an account.

The problem

Most outreach goes unanswered.

A typical cold email earns a few percent replies, and you cannot tell why. You do not know who read it, who skimmed it and who forwarded it.

A short video on a personal page gives people a reason to engage and gives you something to measure. Instead of guessing, you call the people who watched.

How it works

Three steps with Cliprame

  1. Step 1

    Record one video

Sixty to ninety seconds, in your browser, with the reason you are reaching out in the first ten.

  2. Step 2

    Add your list

Paste names, emails and companies, or upload a CSV. Each person gets their own page and link, with their name and company on it.

  3. Step 3

    Send from your own inbox

Copy each person’s ready email with their moving thumbnail, export a CSV for a mail merge, or add everyone to an Apollo, lemlist or Instantly sequence.

What you get

What makes the outreach work harder

  • A “Why {company}” section

AI reads each company’s own website and adds what they do and three ways your offer fits. You review each one before it goes out.

  • A thumbnail that moves

Each email carries a short loop of your video with their greeting on top, which reads as video in the inbox.

  • Variables with fallbacks

Use {first_name} and {company} in the headline, note and email, with fallbacks so it never reads “Hi ,”.

  • A score and a next step for everyone

Hot, Warm or Cold, “watched again” and “probably forwarded”, plus a “Follow up with these today” list.

  • Alerts while they are watching

Slack, HubSpot or Salesforce tells you the moment someone starts, finishes or clicks.

  • Works with your sequencer

One click sends a campaign’s people to Apollo, lemlist or Instantly with their own link and thumbnail.

Good practice

Getting the most out of it

  1. Keep the video short. Sixty to ninety seconds, with the reason you are writing in the first ten.
  2. One button, one ask. A booking link usually beats “let me know what you think”.
  3. Read the research before you send. A wrong fact about their company does more harm than none.
  4. Send from your own inbox. A personal email from a real address gets opened. Check the page once in a private window first.
  5. Follow up on signals. Call people who watched the same day, and remind anyone who has not opened in three days.
  6. Follow the rules for cold email. Honour opt-outs and the law where your prospects are.

What to know first

  • Cliprame does not send the emails. You send from your own inbox or sequence.
  • It does not make a different video for each person: no AI avatars or voice clones. The page, thumbnail and research are personal.
  • Company research needs a work email address. Gmail and Outlook addresses have no company site to read.

Questions

Does video work in cold email?

A personal video gives people a reason to reply and gives you a signal. What it does for your reply rate depends on your list and your offer, so test it on one campaign and compare the results.

Do I have to record a video for each person?

No. You record one video. Each person gets their own page, headline, note, thumbnail greeting and company research around it.

Does Cliprame send the emails?

No. You send from your own email or outreach tool, so replies come to you. Cliprame gives you a ready email for each person, a CSV for a mail merge, or sends the list into an Apollo, lemlist or Instantly sequence.

Will a video hurt my email deliverability?

Cliprame emails contain a link and a still or moving thumbnail, not an attached video. Deliverability still depends on your sending domain and setup.

Can I try it for free?

Yes. The free plan runs campaigns for a small list and includes the full analytics, so you can test it on real prospects first.
