Use case · Retention and growth
Share what’s new and what you delivered, and see who engaged.
Customers rarely read the product update email or the renewal deck. A short personal video shows them what changed or what you delivered, and you see who watched and who else got involved, so the expansion or renewal conversation starts warm.
No card. Your prospect doesn’t need an account.
The problem
Updates go out. Nobody knows who saw them.
Account teams send product updates, value reviews and renewal summaries, then find out weeks later whether anyone noticed. The people who engaged are the ones to talk to about more.
A personal video per account shows who watched, which part they replayed and whether a new person from the account joined, so you can pick the right moment and person.
How it works
Three steps with Cliprame
- Step 1
Record the update or review
Show what shipped, or the results you delivered this year, in a few minutes, with chapters so each reader can jump to what matters to them.
- Step 2
Send each account its own page
Add the contacts at each account. Everyone gets a personal page, and the Companies view groups them by account.
- Step 3
Follow the engagement
See who watched, who forwarded it and who asked for more, with activity logged to HubSpot or Salesforce and an alert in Slack.
What you get
What you see about each account
Everyone from one account together
The Companies view puts the people at an account in one place, with each person’s score and what they did.
Who else joined
A colleague who opens a forwarded link can say who they are and get their own page, so you see new people at the account.
Real attention
Whether the tab was open and the sound on, so a video left playing does not count as interest.
A button for the next step
Add “Book a renewal call”, “See pricing” or a link to your own page, and see who clicked it.
Alerts and CRM activity
Slack, HubSpot and Salesforce hear when someone watches, clicks or books, so the account owner follows up in time.
What goes with won deals, on Enterprise
Connect Salesforce or HubSpot and see the deals where someone watched a video first, and which behaviours went with wins in your own past deals.
Good practice
Getting the most out of it
- Make it about them. Open with the result they care about, not your release notes.
- Send to more than one person. The person who watches is not always the one who signs. Watch who forwards it.
- Keep it short. Three minutes: what changed, what it means for them, what to do next.
- Follow up on engagement, not the calendar. Call the people who watched to the end or replayed a section this week.
- Treat views as a signal, not a promise. Someone watching is a reason to talk, not proof they will buy.
What to know first
- Cliprame does not score account health or trigger expansion automatically. It shows who engaged, and you decide the next step.
- Viewing data on its own does not prove buying intent.
- Revenue and “what goes with won deals” need Enterprise and a connected Salesforce or HubSpot, and match people to deals by email.

Questions
Can I send product updates to customers as a video?
Yes. Record the update once, make a page for each account’s contacts and send the links from your own email. You see who watched, how much and what they clicked.
Can I see who from an account engaged?
Yes. The Companies view groups people by their email domain, so you see who watched, who forwarded it and who has joined.
Does it log to my CRM?
Yes. Salesforce gets an activity on the matching Lead or Contact and HubSpot a note on the contact’s timeline for every watch, click and booking, once you connect them with your own credentials.
Can it tell me which accounts will renew or expand?
No. It shows who engaged with the video, which is a useful signal. On Enterprise it also shows which behaviours went with won deals in your own history, but it does not predict renewals.
Does Cliprame send the update emails?
No. You send from your own email or tool, and Cliprame gives you each person’s link and a ready email, then shows who watched.
