Use case · Demo follow-up
A follow-up video after the demo that gets watched and forwarded.
After a demo, the follow-up email is skimmed and the deck is never opened. A short personal recap answers the question they asked, shows the part that matters to their boss, and tells you when it has been watched or passed on.
No card. Your prospect doesn’t need an account.
The problem
The deal is decided by someone who wasn’t on the call.
The person you demoed to is rarely the one who signs. They have to explain what they saw to someone else, and a forwarded email loses the demo.
A short video does the explaining for them. If you add chapters, they can send the pricing part straight to the person who needs it, and you can see that it happened.
How it works
Three steps with Cliprame
- Step 1
Record the recap
Screen and camera in one take in your browser, with talking points only you can see. Two minutes is enough: answer what they asked and show it.
- Step 2
Add chapters and one next step
Chapters for the parts people will want to jump to, such as pricing, and a Book a call button on the page.
- Step 3
Send the link the same day
Paste it into your follow-up email or send it with the Gmail Video button, then watch for the alert.
What you get
What you get after you send it
An alert when they watch
In Slack, HubSpot or Salesforce, with how far they got, so you can call while the demo is fresh.
Forwarded, and by whom
A second person watching from another network or device is flagged as probably forwarded, and colleagues can introduce themselves on the page.
What they replayed
If they rewatched your pricing chapter, you know what to talk about on the next call.
A follow-up drafted for you
One click writes a short follow-up from what they watched. It never mentions the tracking and opens in your email app.
Fix it after you send it
Edit the video and update it in place. Everyone with the link sees the new version, and the old one is kept for 30 days.
A score and a next step
Hot, Warm or Cold with a suggested next step, so you know who to chase today.
Good practice
Getting the most out of it
- Send it the same day. The demo is fresh and they are still thinking about it.
- Answer the question they asked. Start with it, in the first ten seconds, by name.
- Keep it to two minutes. Long enough to show it, short enough to be watched to the end.
- Give the decision maker a shortcut. Name the pricing chapter and tell your contact they can send just that part.
- One next step. A single button, like “Pick a time”, beats three options.
- Call on the signal. When it is watched to the end or forwarded, reach out the same day.
What to know first
- Cliprame does not send your email. You send the link from your own email or outreach tool.
- It cannot tell you whether the email was opened, only what happened on the video page.
- Viewers can opt out of measuring, and you will not see anything for them.

Questions
How long should a demo follow-up video be?
About two minutes. Answer the question they asked, show it in the product, and finish with one clear next step.
When should I send it?
The same day as the demo, while it is fresh. Sending within hours reads as attentive and gives you something specific to call about.
Can the decision maker watch it without an account?
Yes. Anyone with the link opens it and presses play. If your contact forwards it, you can see that a second person watched.
Can I add a booking button?
Yes. Add a button to the page, and you can embed Calendly or Cal.com so they can book without leaving it. Calendly bookings are tracked.
What if I need to change the video after sending it?
Edit it in Cliprame and update it in place. Everyone with the link sees the new version, your analytics stay, and the previous version is kept for 30 days.
