Use case · Video analytics
See who watched your video, by name.
A shared link tells you a video was played, not who played it. With Cliprame every person gets their own link, so you see who watched, how much, what they replayed and what they did on the page, and you get an alert while they are still there.
No card. Your prospect doesn’t need an account.
The problem
A view count is not an answer to “who watched?”
Views count plays, not people. A video with 40 views might be one person watching 40 times, or 40 people watching once, and you cannot tell which from the number.
To know who watched you need a way to tell people apart: a link made for one person, an email code, or a form. Cliprame supports all three, and shows the result in one place: a named list, ranked by who is most interested.
How it works
Three steps with Cliprame
- Step 1
Make a link for each person
Create one personal link at a time, or paste a list or upload a CSV and make a page and link for everyone in a campaign.
- Step 2
Send it anywhere
Email, LinkedIn, Slack or the Gmail Video button. The link works the same wherever it goes, and the viewer needs no account.
- Step 3
See and get told
Open the video for a named list of viewers, or get an alert in Slack, HubSpot or Salesforce the moment someone starts, finishes or clicks.
What you get
What you see about each person
Who they are
Named by their personal link, by the email they confirmed with a code, or by a form. Anyone else is grouped by browser, not named.
How much, and what they replayed
A drop-off heatmap of rewatches, skips and where people stopped, and the moments each person went back to.
Real attention
Whether the tab was open and the sound on, so a video left playing in the background does not look like interest.
Every visit, in order
How far they scrolled the page, how long each section was on screen and what they clicked, visit by visit.
Who else saw it
A second person on a different network or device probably means it was forwarded to a colleague, and a colleague can introduce themselves for their own page.
A score and a next step
A 0–100 lead score, Hot, Warm or Cold, and a suggested next step for each person, so you know who to call first.
Good practice
Getting the most out of it
- Use a personal link for everyone you can name. A shared public link cannot say who watched. One link per person can.
- Use an email code for confidential videos. The viewer confirms their address, and you see exactly who unlocked it.
- Look at attention, not just plays. A video watched in a background tab is a view, but not interest.
- Follow up on signals, not a schedule. Call people who watched to the end or replayed pricing the same day.
- Tell people it is measured. Every Cliprame page says so, and viewers can choose “Don’t measure me”.
What to know first
- Anyone who opens a public link is grouped by browser, not named, unless they confirm an email or fill in a form.
- Viewers can opt out. Browsers with Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control turned on, and people who choose “Don’t measure me”, are not measured.
- Cliprame sees the page, not the inbox, so it cannot tell you whether an email was opened or delivered.

Questions
Can I see who watched a video I shared by link?
Yes, if you share a personal link made for that person. Each person you send to gets their own link, so their views are attributed to them. People who open a public link are grouped by browser.
Do viewers need an account?
No. They open the link and press play. If you lock the video or add a form, they enter a PIN, confirm their email or fill in the form first.
Is the tracking secret?
No. Every Cliprame page tells viewers that the sender can see how the video is watched, and they can choose “Don’t measure me”. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control switch it off, and viewers in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland get no saved viewer ID.
How is this different from a view count?
A view count says how many times a video was played. Cliprame says which person watched, how much, what they replayed and what they did on the page, and ranks people by interest.
Can I try it for free?
Yes. The free plan includes the full viewer analytics, lead forms and campaigns for a small list. Paid plans add more and longer videos, locks and integrations.
